The DHANRAJ POWERTECH Vertical Metering Cubicle (VMC) is a high-security, space-efficient High Tension (HT) solution essential for accurate revenue metering in medium-voltage power distribution systems (typically 11 kV or 22 kV). Engineered for maximum pilfer-resistance, this vertical, compartmentalized kiosk is constructed from heavy-duty, powder-coated Mild Steel (MS) and is designed to be fully weatherproof, meeting stringent standards like IP55/IP65 for dependable outdoor installation. It houses high-precision Current Transformers (CTs) and Potential Transformers (PTs), guaranteeing an industry-leading measurement accuracy class of 0.2S or 0.5S. By separating the highly sensitive instrument transformers from the electronic energy meter in distinct, utility-sealable sections, the VMC acts as a secure, tamper-proof fiscal point, ensuring fair and precise energy measurement between the utility and the high-volume consumer.
